LYNX™ Remote RoIP System

The Lynxtm Radio over IP (RoIP) interoperability system sets new standards of performance, flexibility and ease of operation for mission critical radio communication systems.  The rugged Lynx serves public safety, homeland security and first responder needs for remote site RoIP gateway, mobile vehicle and small scale dispatch systems.

The Lynx system combines an RoIP dispatch console server, call manager and conference bridge in a single compact footprint. PC based dispatch console operators may network with Lynx to place and receive calls, control radio patching and configure talk nets. The Lynx embedded call manager allows the dispatch operator to interoperate VoIP (Voice over IP), SIP devices, cellular, wireless intercom and wire line telephone systems.  The advanced Lynx technology will operate reliably over high packet loss and high delay SATCOM VoIP networks.

Lynx supports multiple simultaneous radio repeater, cross-patch and conference network connections.  An embedded Call Manager provides unattended dial access to radio conference nets from any Lynx networked device.

Lynx is available in 2 to 8 radio ports capacity.   Standard features include a SIP VoIP gateway, softswitch, call manager, client server, extended temperature range operation and operation from AC, battery or vehicle power,  Options include FXO and FXS “POTS” ports, PRI E1/T1 and rack mount chassis configurations.
